What to Pack: The Checked Bag Guide

Regardless of whether you travel often or rarely, the thumb rule for packing checked luggage is to only pack those things in it that you can live without. You may never you’re your luggage (well, we wish you never do!) but if you do, it may take days, even weeks for your luggage to reach you.

Pack carefully and remember that there can be delays, and occasionally you may lose things.

Toiletries

Anything over 3.4 oz. (or 100 mL) needs to go into your checked luggage. You have two options –
1.       Check your shower products, like body wash, shaving cream, shampoo, and conditioner and pack them according to size.
2.       Since we all have our fav brands and would love to have them close, you can now buy ready travel kits with your fav products from Travel Badger and keep them in your carry-on.

Extra Medication

If you would like to carry some medicines (just in case) medicine, it is best to pack it up. Unless you need it on the flight and it’s not an essential daily med, you don’t need to keep it in your carry-on.

Shoes

Wear a pair of comfortable shoes during your journey and keep any others in your checked bag. You don’t need that extra weight on your shoulder.

Clothes

While you may want an extra shirt or a change of clothes in your carry-on, it is best to stuff the rest of your clothes in the checked bag.

If you are looking for a high-quality men’s travel toiletry bag or a TSA approved toiletry bag that can fit all your travel toiletries, check out Travel Badger for the best deals!
